How to Create Capacity and Avoid The Manifestation Mistakes Almost Everyone Makes

Spring has a way of showing us what’s ready to grow — and what no longer has life in it. I see that everywhere in my garden, and within myself.
And with the intense astrological shifts happening right now, many people are feeling it. Restlessness. Clarity. Exhaustion. A deep sense that something needs to change, even if they can’t fully name what that is yet.
This is a powerful time to pause, reassess - and manifest!
Where are you in your life right now?
What’s working?
What feels forced?
What do you truly need?
One of the biggest misconceptions I see in spiritual spaces is the idea that manifestation happens somewhere “up there” — between your thoughts and the Universe.
People are taught to focus on affirmations, vision boards, and positive thinking while remaining disconnected from their bodies, nervous systems, and the Earth beneath them.
But real manifestation requires grounding. Not just reaching upward but rooting downward as well, to anchor it in the world.
Your body is where your life actually happens.
Try asking those questions again and see how your heart responds. Then sink even deeper and observe how your gut responds.
Grounding into yourself creates stability. Presence. Capacity. Creating capacity enables you to receive whatever you’re trying to manifest - because what arrives doesn’t always come in neat little packages. Sometimes you have to stretch with it, breathe through it and sit with physical discomfort. You need to feel safe enough to let something new in.
Otherwise, manifestation can quietly become another form of dissociation — constantly chasing future possibilities while avoiding what’s actually happening inside of you now.
As an intuitive healer, I often see people trying to manifest abundance, love, purpose, or clarity while simultaneously abandoning themselves internally.
They’re reaching for expansion without creating the safety inside themselves to receive it.
To manifest, you need to create the capacity to receive the new energy — and grounding increases that capacity.
Another thing I’ve been reflecting on lately: Don’t only focus on what feels hard. We've had a lot of "hard" in the past few years, so I get it.
I was meditating recently on something that felt blocked in my own life when the words came through very clearly:
“Focus on what wants to move.”
Because sometimes we put so much attention on the struggle itself that we miss the places where life is already opening.
So I invite you to notice:
What feels lighter right now (or lighter than last year at this time)?
What conversations are naturally unfolding?
What opportunities keep appearing?
Where is there ease, openness, or momentum?
Where is life trying to meet you?
Manifestation is often less about forcing outcomes and more about learning how to participate with what is already unfolding.
Not every path requires struggle. Some things arrive through allowing, through noticing, through being open to the gifts that are already coming. And this is also where people can get tripped up, spiritually.
Real healing is not about bypassing your emotions or pretending everything is “high vibe” all the time. You can’t affirm your way around unresolved pain. You can’t spiritually float above what your body is asking you to feel.
Healing asks you to move through things — not drown in them, not build an identity around them — but move through them honestly.
Grounding keeps you present enough to actually integrate change instead of just thinking about it.
And from that place, manifestation becomes something very different.
Less performance.
Less forcing.
More alignment.
More trust.
Not because you’ve mastered something — but because you’ve learned how to stay connected to yourself.
Grounding increases your capacity to receive and manifest. When you have capacity, manifestation becomes more about learning how to participate with what is unfolding and confidently saying “Yes” to what you want more of in your life.
If this resonates with you and you’re feeling the pull to reconnect more deeply with yourself during this season of change, I’d love to support you.
